Patreon is a digital-native platform connecting creators and fans at global scale. Leveraging a significant investment in Databricks, data powers everything from product discovery to revenue growth.   


The data science team, led by Martin Yamane, supports growth, engagement, revenue, marketing, and product analytics.  As the company scaled, a steady stream of simple-to-medium complexity questions began to crowd out deeper work.  As Martin explained, “The number of ad-hoc requests we were getting was pretty high and distracted us from the larger projects on our roadmap.”
