Why we partnered with Teradata to bring Agentic Analytics to the Enterprise

Enterprise AI is entering a new phase.
For the last two years, most organizations have been experimenting with AI at the edges of the business — copilots, pilots, proofs of concept, isolated chat interfaces. But what enterprises actually need now is much bigger: AI systems that can operate directly on trusted enterprise data, reason across the complexity of modern organizations, and help people make decisions faster without compromising governance, security, or control.
That’s why I’m excited to announce our partnership with Teradata and the integration of WisdomAI into Teradata AI Studio as part of the Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform.
This partnership represents much more than an integration. It reflects a shared belief about where enterprise analytics is headed next.
The enterprise doesn’t need more dashboards
For two decades, enterprises have invested billions in building modern data platforms. Teradata customers, in particular, operate some of the most sophisticated and mission-critical data environments in the world — environments defined by governance, scale, performance, and operational rigor.
But while the data foundation evolved, the analytics experience often did not.
Business users still wait days for answers. Analysts remain overloaded with ad hoc requests. Dashboards multiply faster than organizations can manage them. And most enterprise knowledge — contracts, tickets, emails, documents, logs — never make it into the analytical workflow at all.
The result is a gap between the data enterprises own and the decisions they need to make.
We believe the next generation of analytics closes that gap through agentic intelligence.
From static dashboards to agentic analytics
At WisdomAI, we’ve built what we call a Federated Agentic Intelligence Platform — a platform designed to help enterprises move beyond static BI toward conversational, proactive, and autonomous analytics.
Inside Teradata AI Studio, organizations will now be able to:
Ask business questions in natural language
Generate dashboards from a single prompt
Monitor KPIs with proactive AI agents
Run multi-step root cause analysis
Reason across structured and unstructured data together
Deliver all of this while preserving governance and security controls
And importantly, this happens directly on top of governed enterprise data — without forcing organizations to move or duplicate their data.
That architectural principle matters more than ever.
AI must respect enterprise architecture
One of the reasons we were excited to partner with Teradata is that both companies fundamentally believe the enterprise AI stack must work with the reality that customers already operate.
Enterprise data does not live in one place. It spans warehouses, lakes, SaaS applications, logs, documents, and operational systems. Some of it lives in the cloud. Some remains on-premises. Some cannot leave the firewall at all.
Most AI systems today still assume the answer is to centralize, copy, or re-pipeline everything.
We disagree.
WisdomAI was designed from day one around federation — reasoning across distributed systems without forcing data movement. Teradata’s architecture aligns naturally with that philosophy through its focus on governed, high-performance environments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments.
That’s why this partnership feels so strategically aligned.
Context is what makes enterprise AI work
There’s another reason this partnership matters.
Enterprise AI accuracy is not just a model problem. It’s a context problem.
Large language models do not inherently understand your business definitions, KPIs, operational logic, fiscal calendars, or governance rules. Without that context, AI-generated analytics often become unreliable very quickly.
That’s why WisdomAI built an Adaptive Context Engine that learns how organizations actually operate — transforming generic models into agents capable of delivering trusted enterprise answers with over 95% accuracy.
Combined with Teradata’s governed enterprise data foundation and industry expertise, we believe this creates a fundamentally stronger foundation for enterprise AI analytics.
A new operating model for analytics
The broader shift happening across the market is from dashboards to decisions — and eventually from decisions to automated action.
We’re moving toward a world where analytics becomes:
Conversational instead of report-driven
Proactive instead of reactive
Continuous instead of request-based
Embedded directly into business workflows
That transformation requires more than a chatbot attached to a warehouse. It requires enterprise-grade infrastructure, governance, context, federation, and deterministic execution.
That’s exactly what we’re building together with Teradata.
Why this partnership matters for customers
For Teradata customers, this partnership creates an opportunity to unlock significantly more value from the data infrastructure they already trust.
Organizations can now extend governed analytics beyond technical teams and make AI-driven insights accessible across the enterprise — from finance and operations to procurement, sales, and executive leadership.
And because WisdomAI supports structured and unstructured reasoning together, customers can move beyond traditional BI workflows entirely — asking questions that previously required stitching together dashboards, documents, and institutional knowledge manually.
This is how enterprises begin moving from AI experimentation to AI production.
Looking ahead
We believe the winners in enterprise AI will be the platforms that combine three things as a single system:
Trusted data
Accurate context-aware intelligence
Enterprise-grade governance
That’s why we’re incredibly excited about what we’re building with Teradata.
This partnership is an important step toward a future where every employee can interact naturally with enterprise intelligence — and where AI becomes a trusted operational layer across the business, not just another isolated tool.
We’re just getting started.
